San Diego Fashion Valley

Simon is bringing more luxury to the heart of San Diego’s Fashion Valley.

Celine is also expected to open in the second quarter of 2024; Tudor, Veronica Beard and Zimmermann are also slated to open this year, and Christian Louboutin and Fendi are both set to open in 2025, Simon announced Monday.

Dior, Bottega Veneta, David Yurman and Dolce & Gabbana recently relocated to Fashion Valley, a Simon spokesperson said.

In addition, the Rolex Fourtané boutique has expanded its footprint, doubling in size and introducing a Santiago-inspired bespoke design concept with private consultation rooms and a two-story façade, and Omega plans to reopen this year. Luxury brands such as Prada, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent and Cartier have opened downtown boutiques. The center is also home to brands such as Levi’s, Banana Republic and Lululemon.

Fashion Valley is the premier luxury shopping destination in and around San Diego, attracting an affluent shopper base from the mega-trade area. As a result of this unique positioning and Simon’s continued reinvestment, it has attracted some of the most prestigious names in luxury and European fashion, and this is just the beginning of a new chapter of this exciting and robust growth, with the expectation that more iconic brands will join the growing roster of luxury brands.

Fashion Valley is partnering with AMLI Residential to develop a community of 850 luxury multi-family homes. The community will include 100,000 square feet of new retail and “one-of-a-kind” dining experiences, as well as open green space and parking for residents and guests. The retail and residential redevelopment project is expected to begin immediately following JCPenney’s planned closure at the end of 2025 and is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.

There are plans to create another walkable, livable lifestyle community that is intertwined with carefully selected luxury brands that can only be found here. This redevelopment marks a new era of sophisticated and accessible living in San Diego.

Like Fashion Valley, several of Simon’s other major properties are undergoing what executives call a “strategic transformation. Simon’s Woodbury Common Premium Outlets is adding 155,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, bringing the center to more than 1 million square feet, as well as a 3,000-space parking garage to help ease traffic congestion, a 200-room hotel and even a helipad. a helipad. Simon plans to further invest in The Galleria in Houston with interior and exterior renovations. The real estate investment trust said it has invested hundreds of millions of dollars in the redevelopment of the property so far.
